Scott Smith is a highly seasoned IT and business executive professional who works closely with executive leadership, board members and staff. He has a consistent history of taking responsibility for complex corporate initiatives and driving them to a successful outcome on behalf of his clients and industry partners. Specifically, Scott’s extensive experience is in enterprise shared services, PMO, complex ERP implementations, IT transformation, process benchmarking and business process transformation with extensive public and private sector experience. He started the first independent Oracle eBusiness consultancy in the southeastern United States that he guided through a merger with a venture-capital backed professional services company and then directly supported an IPO on NASDAQ for the combined company. Founded a technology private equity fund with 28 limited partners focused on the healthcare online marketplace, enterprise application technology space and e-Commerce. He has sold and managed complex systems and process work for many Fortune 500 clients where he has directly led a large number of Oracle implementations as well as PeopleSoft and SAP implementations. His role in the larger programs was in the execution and ownership of these enterprise initiatives in a leadership program management capacity working side by side with business, functional and IT leadership to plan, implement and manage. Programs ranged from application development and application management to data center migrations and consolidations to cloud migrations to product development programs using AWS technology stack and web services to ERP simplification to large IT/BPO procurements; each requiring the coordination of many complex parallel initiatives across different business units, vendors, and business functions.

Scott possesses 26+ years of Oracle implementation experience across a host of industries and global business models with country-specific currency and language requirements. He has a rich history of being responsible for global relationships with commercial software vendors such as Oracle and managing 3rd party systems integrators and offshore developers such as Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, Oracle Consulting, Wipro, HCL and HP. Scott has very strong strategic planning, project management, IT infrastructure, architecture and business applications experience both in building advocacy for related bodies of work and in gaining corporate and executive commitment for funding large-scale PMO led projects and programs. Strong ITIL skills related to service delivery, issues/problem management, change management, financial management (including Earned Value Management), project delivery and production support. Deep experience in vendor procurement management and contract management related to enterprise software companies and strategic services partners such as Accenture, Amazon Web Services, Deloitte Consulting, Ernst & Young, IBM, HCL, Oracle, SAP, Unisys Corporation and Wipro.

Justin has extensive experience in large enterprise IT environments, leading teams to enable digital transformation, accelerate cloud adoption, and execute complex transformational strategies.  This has enabled the organizations he serves to accelerate time to market taking advantage of fast developing opportunities.

Over the last 15 years, he led a Technology Managed Services start-up organization through concept to acquisition by an Austin-based company and was responsible for the Dallas office, migrated over 25,000 employees to Office 365, and re-platformed a Fortune 500 company’s order management system.  Clients include Fortune 30 and Fortune 1000 companies across the Americas.

A Fortune 30 Health Care Company, Nashville, TN – responsible for leading a team of 25 through the successful development of a new prescription drug samples management program and integration into an existing ERP system allowing the company to on-board a new client accounting for $300 million of samples distribution annually.  Given an extremely accelerated timeline, Justin was able to successfully launch the program on time with no disruption to the samples program.

General Finance Corporation, Dallas, Texas – responsible for assessing two new acquisitions across three locations, developing a comprehensive technology strategy and budget, moving critical workloads to a private cloud solution while maintaining SOX compliance, and outsourced all primary technology functions.  GFC was able to increase manufacturing output and grow leasing operations accelerating repayment of debt.

Long Range Systems, Addison, Texas – created and maintained corporate technology systems, and led data center consolidation through virtualization and updating critical systems to ensure goals were met for system reliability and business continuity.
